These terms apply to the CopyVideoText Chrome extension and the website copyvideotext.com, provided by ICHO DIGITAL LLC ("we", "us"). By installing or using CopyVideoText you agree to them.

Using CopyVideoText

CopyVideoText lets you copy text that is visible in videos you are watching, for your own use. You're responsible for how you use the text you copy. Please respect copyright, the terms of the websites you visit, and other people's rights. Don't use the extension to copy content you're not allowed to use.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension. You may not resell it, or copy, modify or distribute it except as allowed by the open-source licenses of its components (the text recognition engine, Tesseract.js, is licensed under the Apache License 2.0).

No warranty

Text recognition isn't perfect. Results depend on video quality, fonts and backgrounds, and may contain mistakes. Always check copied text, especially code, numbers and contact details. The extension is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, ICHO DIGITAL LLC isn't liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the extension or the website.

Privacy

How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy. In short: the text is read on your device and nothing is uploaded.

Changes

We may update the extension and these terms. If we make important changes, we'll update the date above.
